The AFRICA CEO FORUM, the largest annual private sector meeting in Africa, will take place on 13 and 14 June 2022 in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. As the world recovers from the impact of COVID-19 and 10 years after its first publication, the event will focus on offering new ways to grow in Africa.
Vaccine production, supply chain disruptions, digitalization of the economy, energy transition… The health crisis caused by COVID-19 has accelerated the transformation of economies into new models. Whether it is about sustainable growth, job creation or supporting the development of national and regional leaders, AFRICA CEO FORUM intends to work on public-private dialogue, which is more important than ever for building a sovereign and autonomous Africa.
For the first time since 2019, AFRICA CEO FORUM 2022 will take place face to face and will host more than 1,500 heads of business and government, including: Alassane Ouattara, President of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire; Mackie Sall, President of the Republic of Senegal; Mohamed Sheikh El-Gazuani, President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania; Mohamed Bazum, President of the Republic of Niger; Amy Osinbajo, Vice President of the Republic of Nigeria; Ralph Mupita, CEO of MTN; Abdul Samad Rabiu, Executive Chairman of BUA Group; Soren Toft, CEO of MSC, Dolphin Traore, Managing Director of Allianz Africa; Rita Zniber, CEO of Diana Holding; Ade Ayemi, CEO of Ecobank; Aliun Ndiaye, Managing Director of Orange in the Middle East and Africa; Anne Rigail, Managing Director of Air France, as well as many other decision-makers from across Africa and around the world. For 10 years, the AFRICA CEO FORUM has been a major meeting place for African leaders, international investors and governments. During the last physical edition of the Forum in 2019, more than 1,500 decision-makers, including 700 CEOs, gathered in Kigali, Rwanda.
Case studies, expert testimony, workshops, high-level working groups: this year the AFRICA CEO FORUM will present new innovative formats that will allow participants to discuss strengthening Africa’s economic sovereignty.
The AFRICA CEO FORUM Awards, which annually reward the most enterprising companies and individuals on the continent, will open its doors to about twenty of the most important startups in Africa thanks to the initiative Destroyers Club.
